X Games Real BMX presented by Hot Pockets contender Dennis Enarson is not just one of the worlds most innovative and burly street riders: Enarson can ride everything put in front of him at a pro level. And thats not just BMX hearsay either. Earlier this year, Enarson won BMX Park gold at X Games Austin 2016. And in the past, hes been invited to elite dirt competitions such as Red Bull Dreamline. But theres much more to Dennis Enarson than well-rounded riding and a seemingly unstoppable approach to competitive riding. Here are five fast facts about San Diego, Californias own Dennis Enarson.1. Enarson is one of the esteemed team members of the Nike BMX U.S. team, alongside Garrett Reynolds, Chad Kerley and Nigel Sylvester. Most recently, Enarson traveled to Russia in August with teammate Chad Kerley, but in the past five years, the team has traveled the world to film some of the worlds most popular web edits, including Nike BMX in Spain, which became a World of X Games show for ABC in 2015.2. Enarsons sponsor Nike paid for a backyard ramp setup at his parents house in San Diego for an event in Nov. 2008. Enarson now lives nearby in a house he bought in 2009. He then bought his second house in 2015 in Mission Hills, California. He has a mini-ramp at the new house, and he skates it often. (Yes, hes also good at skating. See above.)3. Enarson suffered a lower back injury in Oct. 2014 that forced him to change his ways. My lower back went out on a road trip home from Texas. It was so bad that I couldnt stand up straight. I was literally crooked, says Enarson. It took a lot of chiropractor visits, changing my diet, pilates, yoga, and massaging to get back on the bike. He now avoids inflammatory foods such as cheese and breads.4. Enarson has a signature line of components from parts sponsor Demolition Parts. Run by legendary street rider Brian Castillo, Demolition (and sister bike brand Volume) was one of Enarsons first sponsors as a teenager. Enarson has a signature line of parts dubbed the Rig line that includes signature handlebars, cranks, tires and stem. Enarson also has signature denim from his own crew-based brand Markit Denim.5. Enarson did all of his Real BMX filming reasonably close to his house. His intent was simple: He wanted to show BMX fans that they dont have to travel the world to find good places to ride.Real BMX presented by Hot Pockets voting is still open.
